About the Course
Faithlegg House Hotel is situated in an 18th century mansion, which has been restored to provide luxury accommodation in Ireland's magnificent South East. Located just six miles outside Waterford city, with its own golf course, it is one of Waterford's finest hotels. Opened in May 1993, Faithlegg golf course was designed by renowned Irish golf course architect Paddy Merrigan. Boasting a superb setting on the banks of the River Suir, the course has been cleverly moulded into a wonderful landscape of mature trees, flowing parkland and five lakes. The clubhouse, a tastefully remodelled coach house for the stately 18th century Faithlegg House, provides fine food and wine and enjoys uninterrupted views of this charming course. Faithlegg's par-72, championship golf course, the venue of the Ladies Irish Open for two years in a row, features gently undulating fairways with boldly contoured greens.
