About the Course
Ballina is an 18-hole parkland course, with a par of 71. It comprises four par threes, 11 par fours and three par fives. It is 5,993m long and a par-69 course. The undulating terrain and strategically planted trees make it a challenging test for the average golfer.
The 40 shades of green visible from the clubhouse greatly enhance the scenic aspect of the course, where the lush fairways, carefully manicured greens and strategically placed water hazards and bunkers all add variety to the golfing challenge presented.
The course is splendidly visual in terms of panoramic views of rolling countryside, wooded acres and gorse clad hills and mountains. Birdlife abounds in the area and the songs of thrush and blackbird augment the enjoyment of a typical round of golf.
